All Atlas Skyways members are expected to operate with professionalism, safety awareness, and respect for fellow aviators. These regulations govern conduct on the network, dispatch operations, and flight standards.
1. Membership & Conduct
- All members must hold a valid IVAO account in good standing.
- Respectful communication is mandatory across all VA channels, Discord, and IVAO comms.
- Members must use their real IVAO callsign and VID at all times.
- Inactivity exceeding 90 days without notice may result in membership being placed on hold.
2. Flight Operations
- All flights must be filed and tracked via the dispatch system. Unlogged flights do not count toward hours or tour completions.
- A realistic flight plan with correct route, altitude, and aircraft type is required before departure.
- Minimum simulation rate is real-time (1×). Time acceleration above 4× is prohibited while airborne.
- Connection to the IVAO network is strongly encouraged and required for division events.
3. ATC & Network Standards
- When ATC is online, all instructions must be followed. Repeated non-compliance is a reportable offence.
- Standard ICAO phraseology is required on all online flights.
- Members must read back all clearances completely and correctly.
- Intentional disconnection to avoid ATC interaction is a network violation.
4. Tours & Awards
- Tour legs must be completed in order unless otherwise specified.
- Aircraft type restrictions are binding. Substitutions require advance approval.
- Award claims must be submitted within 30 days of tour completion.
- Falsification of PIREP data or log manipulation results in permanent removal.
5. Violations & Disciplinary Action
- Violations are categorised as: Advisory → Warning → Suspension → Removal.
- Three warnings within 12 months automatically trigger a 30-day suspension.
- Members may appeal any decision in writing to the Division Director within 14 days.
- IVAO MA reserves the right to refer egregious violations to IVAO HQ.
